Peer Response to Ed (Blog 4)

For this post, I will be responding to Ed’s Blog 4 post.

Hi Ed,

Your post does a great job of showing how Open Pedagogy and OER transform learning into something more engaging and accessible. I totally agree with your point about OER bridging equity gaps—free resources that reach underserved communities make such a huge difference. Your Quizlet example really hit home for me too. I used to spend hours making physical flashcards, but digital tools like Quizlet make studying so much easier and more efficient.

I also really liked how you explained the attributes of Open Pedagogy. The focus on collaboration, transparency, and student-centered learning makes education feel more like a partnership. It’s empowering for students to have a say in their learning, and I think it helps keep us more motivated and engaged.

Thanks Ed!
